Music is what feelings sound like, it invigorates the soul with the essence of a beauty we cannot see.
It is expression in its purist form. Whenever I am a bit down, music is the Rx to lift my spirits; when
ever I want passion, music is the pre-amp; and if I want to get in a party mood, play me the right songs
and I will party with you all night long. Music is the only means where we can feel the universality of
emotions. I love all forms of music from alternative country to hip hop, from classic rock to fusion jazz,
from blues to classical, and I will play it all for you. I am here to share my music and to make your day
a little better. As you listen to me, you may think that I am a bit loquacious, but I so enjoy expressing
my thoughts, opinions and feelings with you. Many of my friends will be dropping in here on occasion, so
come join us as I mix people and songs for fun and pleasure.

As a young girl, I used to listen to country music with my dad after supper. I remember Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy
Cline and other fine musicians. When I grew older, being the youngest child, I pretty much stayed home and listened to the
radio from the time I got home from school until I heard my momma telling me to "turn that dern thing off and go to sleep!"
Music to me touches the soul. It's there when no one else is. I think it can speak to you, help you understand your feelings
and emotions. It can also bring joy and happiness and make you dance your legs off! But mostly, I think music should always
be shared, used as a bonding force. I know as a teacher, I have enjoyed the various types of music from the 80s - present that
my students have gotten me to listen to and appreciate. I thank them for that!
My quest here at RockXstream is to bring music to you for your listening enjoyment. And if it touches your soul, I feel I've done
my part!! So, let's settle in and enjoy some tunes from the past and present! You're not alone any more!

I was not one that was big into music as a kid. I had other passions like sports and um sports. When I went
off to college I needed to find something different so I went to a "Radio Club" meeting, just to see what it
was all about. There it was... I was a DJ for my college radio station once a week for four years and what a blast
I had! My passion for music was born! Music is a part of our lives wether we think about it or not. Any song, at any
moment can spark a memory, let us relive a moment in our lives. Music can make us smile, laugh and even cry. No matter
what we do, a song can spark an emotion. So sit back, relax and lets relive some of those memories together!

Hi y'all (youz-guyz for anyone above Nashville). Being born and raised in the south I always thought there were only 2 kinds
of music, country and western and I just figured hearing about your dog leaving you and your woman wrecking your truck was just
music making the world go around. Imagine how shocked I was when I went to my first hard rock Slim Whitman concert (lol). I have
enjoyed all types of music since that day. So tune in you never know what song I will play and is it just me or should genre be
spelled jonrah.

I grew up in Memphis and lived most of my adult life there as well, so I'm a true Southern Belle complete with accent. My travels have taken me to the Desert Southwest where I now live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
I like lots of different kinds of music, but my favs are country, southern rock, classic rock, and blues. I also have a special fondness for showtunes and movie soundtracks that I enjoy sharing with the listeners.
Remember, my show is a jukebox full of all kinds of music.....so just push my buttons and I'll play for you! Whatever you want! You name it, I'll play it!

Like most people I love music, and have listened to it from the time I was a kid ( Mom played the radio a lot ) till now.
I have been exposed to just about every kind of music, Rock, Country, Big Band, Show Tunes, Jazz, Light Classical, Classical, Pop, and even a little Opera.
I love rock, and have seen it grow and change from Bill Haley and the Comets to the wide variety of rock music we have today.
My hobbies include photography, reading, watching movies, Lionel model trains, AOL.. LOL , and I just like being outdoors. Oh, and of course now....being a Rock X Stream DJ.
I spent most of my life in NJ, born, bred, worked and retired there, except for the time i spent in the US Air Force. I moved to Florida in December of 2005, and so far, love it, no snow,ice, etc.
Here at the X I have found a great group of folks, who welcomed me and have helped me along the way. Thanks to all!!
So I'll hope you listen in , and enjoy the variety of music I expect to play, and don't forget! Requests are what we like to get, and I'll do my best to play what you like, and get it, if I don't have it.

in Baltimore, Maryland, but I have hung my hat in Tennessee for the past 14 years. I grew up listening to the rock music
of the 60's and 70's through my teen years. I also enjoy the rock of today. My Favorite artists are Janis Joplin, The Stones,
Led Zeppelin, Ac/Dc, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Nickleback, Seether and Nine Inch Nails. If you enjoy Classic Rock my show is

I thought about majoring in music in college, but decided to leave music an enjoyable hobby instead of work. So I'm here to have fun and I hope you do too! Brought up by a father who loved music, that love transferred. And bless his heart, he taught me that any music worth listening to was worth hearing it loudly! So I grew up with Russ Morgan, Montavani, Herb Alpert, 101 Strings, The Boston Pops, Billy Vaughn, The Johnny Mann Singers, Hugo Winterhalter, etc. And suddenly in 1962 I heard my first rock song. Well, then a whole new part of my heart was involved. Loudly! My soul lives with the classic top 40 of the late sixties, seventies and early eighties. But as the eighties and nineties rolled in, I found great enjoyment with New Age and music that accompanied various movies and television shows. Then, Sarah Brightman's music was introduced to me. And of course that led to Bocelli. So it's fair to say I have eclectic tastes.
And you couldn't find a better place to call "home" for a variety of music tastes and show stylings. And the DJ's are happy to cater to your taste and expand your horizons! They are great. Glad you're here. Enjoy! Please join me, Sonic Segue, in blastin' the tunes.

My name is Kevin, I am here to rock the X better than ever before. I always have a taste of music no matter where I am,
wanting to listen to music anywhere I go. I am a fan of a lot of today's rock music and will even go back throughout the
later 90's. I will play anything for you although from ACDC, Ozzy to Linkin Park. Music is what I believe the sound of
feelings and how your are feeling at that point or time, I don't know where we would be without any music, because it is
what always keeps us going. I like all kinds of music from Rock, Punk, Alternative, Hip Hop, to some Country so a wide variety
is what you will be hearing from me. I have a lot of sense of humor, so I hope everyone enjoys listening to me on the X and

Music was my first love, and remains a passion for me. It can help you up when your feeling down, it can set a tone or a mood.
It is always there for you when you need it. You could tell the story of a life thru music alone. I told a very dear friend I
can sit here and scroll thru thousands of files and have a memory attached to almost every single one. The first song I learned to
sing, danced to, was playing the first time I fell in love or had my heart broken. Music is just always there in the background and
forms the patchwork quilt of my life. I am lucky to be a part of The X Stream family and expanding both my knowledge and taste

The sound of music can take you through a gambit of emotions if you allow it too. Sometimes I'll hear a song and every hair on
my body will stand up. That's how connected to some emotions I am when I hear a certain song. So.....wether you need your spirits

Rock as well as 80’s Pop Rock in my growing and adventurous years. (I once traveled through the Bermuda Triangle in a kayak too!)

Music has been a major influence in my life for as long as I can remember....
My Grandmother's preference for classical and opera to my Father's love of Big Band to my Mother's penchant for Johnny Mathis, George Maharis and Sinatra provided the environment where anything music was welcomed. I was gifted with my Grandmother's pink desk top radio when I was 8 and that was that....I was hooked on anything rock...Cousin Brucie from NY and Wolfman Jack started it for me. Midnight Special was the cherry on my music sundae....My family grew to learn not to ask what I wanted for gifts but to ask about my musical preferences at the moment...and which guitar strings I used..... So this is what I hope to share with you....classic rock, rock, pop, metal, alternative and anything else striking a chord within me. People come and people go....but music, sweet music is the one constant touching our souls forever.... Join me on a fantasy of flight into the world of music.
